KASP @ Antaragni '07 (IIT- Kanpur)
KASP
recently performed for the Rock, as well as Fusion events @ ANTARAGNI - The annual festival of the Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur. It was the first time ever, that the band performed for a Rock music event, and the rave reviews won by KASP have
been extremely encouraging, to say the least, and their performance really left the crowds asking for more!!!
Apart from that, KASP also performed as an Instrumental Fusion band in the Eastern
Band Event at Antaragni!
Ahmedabad Concert Tour:
KASP performed a grand fusion concert, at the ROOTS Festival, organised
by the Centre for Environmental Planning & Technology (CEPT). KASP performed
a 2 and half hour long special concert, at the CEPT Grounds, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad on this occassion. The concert was a huge
success, with wonderful reviews from everbody.
PRITHVI FESTIVAL: KASP
performed live at the PRITHVI FESTIVAL, the annual festival of Arts & Theatre, held at the PRITHVI THEATRE, Juhu, Mumbai.
NASEOH Concert: KASP performed a special Live Fusion Concert for the
NASEOH INDIA (National Society For Equal Opportunities For The Handicapped) It was a really special and most heartwarming
experience for all the KASP members, to have got an opportunity to entertain the special children, who loved the music, and
sincerely cheered for the band with their beautiful smiles & gestures. It was truly a very touching moment, and KASP
considers it an honour to have got this opportunity to support such a wonderful cause. The concert was very well
appreciated by all the members of the audience.
SAHARA INDIA PARIVAR: KASP also happened to perform Live Ambient Fusion
Music at the Launch function of the new MUTUAL FUNDS venture of SAHARA INDIA PARIVAR at THE TAJ MAHAL, Mumbai. The show was
a grand success, and well appreciated by the Corporate guests as well as the Event organisers.
INDO-PAK YOUTH FORUM FOR PEACE:
Some members of KASP, alongwith few other friends, performed a Special Fusion Concert for
the Cultural
Exchange Programme organised by the INDO-PAK
YOUTH FORUM FOR PEACE, held at the
PATKAR AUDITORIUM, SNDT University Campus, Churchgate, Mumbai. This concert was a resounding success. KASP members also played with other artistes from Pakistan
on this occassion.
A concert for a private corporate gathering at THE LEELA,
Sahar, Mumbai.
KASP performed a special
Instrumental Fusion Concert at the First Anniversary celebrations of the P.G.GARODIA CONSERVATOIRE; a music institution in
Mumbai, which is headed by artistes of repute, such as Louis Banks, Sharon Prabhakar, Bismark Rodrigues etc. The concert also
featured performances by eminent artistes such as LOUIS BANKS - Jazz Keyboardist and composer, GINO BANKS – Ace Drummer,
JOE ALVAREZ – Pop/Jazz singer, LOY MENDONCA – Ace Pianist-composer of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio fame ETC.
